When does Star Wars: Hunters release?

The Star Wars franchise is getting another multiplayer title in the form of a third-person arena shooter named Star Wars: Hunters. Fans already have a list of characters available at launch. While the game is looking to feature all the elements that define the Star Wars franchise, the gameplay also resembles Overwatch a little, which can be a huge plus for any gamer who has played Overwatch before.  Star Wars: Hunters will be landing on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. While console players will need to revert back to their phones to try out the game, PC players may have the option to try out the game by installing an Android emulator.

An Apex fan builds their own Wingman and it’s the real deal

The Wingman pistol continues to be one of Apex Legends’ most iconic weapons, gaining near-mythical status in its early incarnations dominating the meta. Respawn itself may have recognized this with the release of a toy replica, but this incredible build by u/purehjeffs brings it to life in a step beyond what’s come before it. From its complete suite of sound effects to a reload mechanism perfectly pulled straight from the game itself, it’s easy to forget it’s only supposed to be an initial prototype.

Apex Chronicles aren’t perfect, but they’re worth revisiting

Finding a new way to tell a story doesn’t make it a good way to tell a story. At the same time, that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything good to take away from the exercise. The story of Apex Legends is much like the game itself: twisting and turning, never wanting to be pinned down, and evolving into something similar, but at the same time new. Just as new legends, guns, maps, and game modes fundamentally change the way people play the game every season, Respawn continually switches up the way it reveals more and more of the Apex lore to its players.

Apex’s April Fools’ prank adds 9-round Mozambique, buffs the P2020

Apex Legends’ first meme just became a killing machine. Respawn’s April Fools’ Day joke buffed the infamous Mozambique shotgun and the P2020 pistol as a rerun of last year’s prank. And the two weapons have quickly become necessary additions to any player’s arsenal—at least until tomorrow. Both guns are considered to be starter weapons that don’t hold up too well in the later stages of a match, although the Hammerpoint Rounds hop-up greatly increases their efficiency against unshielded targets.

Bungie investigating takedowns of fan and official Destiny YouTube content

Bungie is looking into the erroneous copyright takedowns that have had Destiny content creators on YouTube worried for the security of their channels, the company announced. While the developer didn’t have explicit details to share on what the issue is, it confirmed that Bungie and its partners aren’t responsible for the copyright claims that have been getting Destiny 2 videos removed sporadically from YouTube. It further explained that Bungie’s own channels had also been hit, and community manager Cozmo said the team was having a meeting today to get to the bottom of the issue.
