Plenty of fans were gunning for Brooklyn Nine-nine actor Terry Crews, an avid Overwatch fan. He publicly put his name in the ring in November 2016, before Blizzard ever even acknowledged the possibly of Doomfist being a playable hero in Overwatch. Doomfist—and Crews as Doomfist—was a meme before we even knew what Akande Ogundimu looked like.

The LCS is starting to look stable through four weeks, with many of the teams in the league settling into their spots in the standings ahead of the inevitable crunch time that is the playoff race.  Two teams in particular, TSM and 100 Thieves, have emerged as the summer’s top contenders and are trading blows at the top of the league. This comes after Cloud9 and Team Liquid dominated the top two spots in the LCS standings through the first half of the year.

Mirage’s mother left him a voice message as part of an Apex Legends Easter egg discovered today. Investigating the Holographic Tricker’s phone in the Mirage Voyage shows an important message from Evelyn Witt—including a significant revelation for Titanfall fans. In the message, Evelyn seems to forget important information, including her birthday and the whereabouts of her sons—who all disappeared during the Frontier War, with the exception of Mirage. She also reveals that the Witts are related to a character from Titanfall.

A new Pokémon Go trailer teased what could come next to the augmented-reality (AR) sensation in the form of Ultra Beasts and the Ultra Recon Squad. The 15-second-long teaser showed the Rock/Poison-type Nihilego, a jellyfish-looking Ultra Beast from Pokémon Sun and Moon. The clip also highlighted a glimpse of a possible member of the Ultra Recon Squad, which is the organization designated to investigate the Ultra Beasts. Ultra Beasts were introduced in the Sun and Moon versions of the game and come from the Ultra Space through the Ultra Wormhole.
