Horizon has one of the most tragic backstories in Apex Legends. The scientist’s assistant left her stranded in space for months—equivalent to nearly a century in her hometown of Olympus. Horizon returned to a razed planet and a son who, in all likelihood, has passed away.
The assistant who betrayed Horizon looked like a new character in the Apex universe. But looks can be deceiving. A prominent theory in the Apex community is that Horizon’s assistant is the human version of Ash before she became a simulacrum—and some elements make it a compelling idea.
It’s a great week to be a Mage fan, despite the class’ place in the current Hearthstone meta.
Hearthstone Patch 16.4 just dropped and includes a variety of changes for Battlegrounds. That’s not all, though. This patch also introduces two new items to the in-game store that are aimed directly at Mage players. The item most Mage players will be excited about is undoubtedly the Khadgar Hero Portrait. For years, Khadgar has served as an Archmage and the Guardian of Azeroth, picking up the mantle left behind by Medivh.
Pokémon Go’s solstice-themed event is coming back from June 17 to 20 and features different Pokémon depending on which hemisphere you’re playing in.
This will include global encounters with Lunatone, Solrock, Spheal, and more, while other Pokémon like Yanma and Snorunt will only appear in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, respectively. Regigigas will also be appearing in five-star raids until July 1, with shiny Regigigas and new raid-related Field Research being added to the game.
Avery “Avxry” LoPriore is a Fortnite content creator from North America.
Though he rose to fame after Fortnite’s release, Avxry’s YouTube channel dates back to 2014. Specializing in Black Ops 2 and GTA V, Avxry’s creative ideas helped him to separate himself from the rest in terms of content. Despite having a steadily growing fanbase, it was Avxry’s original ideas that drew more viewers to his channel.
Alongside GTA V stunts, his most successful pieces of content featured him getting Victory Royales with a typewriter and super-stretched screen resolutions.
Diablo 2: Resurrected launched just over a week ago and fans have already begun crafting mods for the remastered version of the classic Blizzard title.
With just a couple of days to work, the mod community has blossomed, including plenty of unique additions that change up gameplay, visuals, or other in-game functions. While Diablo 2: Resurrected did bring new graphics to the table, it didn’t change anything else in the ways of content, meaning that dedicated fans already had an idea of potential mods before hopping into the game.
